Q. What should I look for in a painting contractor?

All painting contractors are not the same. Check their online reviews, ask for references, and above all check their website for work experience and qualifications.

What should I expect during a consultation?

When we meet with you we examine the project, record all your concerns, we will offer and show you, if possible, other options based on your needs or expectations of the finished project. Once we have established all your needs and specifications for the project, within three to five days, depending on the meeting time and date, our estimator will email you an estimate and arrange a follow-up meeting to review it with you.

Q. Why is there such a large difference in price from one painter to the next? Doesn’t every painter do the same thing?

Assuming that all of the painting contractors that you’re comparing are all licensed, insured, and bonded professional painters, some might charge more because they pay more attention to detail like carefully covering all surfaces not to be painted, only using premium products and having a scheduled thorough cleanup process upon completion of the job.

It is very important that you compare in detail the full scope of services included by each contractor.

Q. Why do I care if my painting contractor uses “high quality” paint? I thought all paint was the same?

After investing your money and valuable time in a project like this, you obviously don’t want to have to repeat the expense again in the foreseeable future. Always consider the painter recommending superior products but always ask for an explanation of the benefits. Always compare their explanation to the other contractors who might quote considerably less. You will discover that considerably less often means inferior products that will have a much shorter life cycle.

High quality paint have less fillers and improved ingredients for longer life, whereas low quality paints tend to fade, chalk, crack and peel. Higher quality paints also stand up to regular cleaning and on exterior surfaces, better resistance to the elements of the environment.

If you want the best value for your money, don’t be convinced into cutting back on paint quality to lower the cost of the project, because the end result will be a shorter lifespan for your newly painted surface.

Q. How do you apply the paint?

We use a variety of application methods; from brush to roller to airless spray application. Our method of application will depend on what best suits your particular situation and your comfort level, but it will always be the method that will provide you with the best quality finish possible.

Q. How many people work on your painting crews?

The size of our team will vary depending on the scope of work to be completed.

Q. How long will my painting project take to complete?

Each painting project is unique. Depending on the Scope Of Work to be completed your estimator will discuss with you the projected start date and completion date of your project before work gets under way. However, the vast majority of our painting projects take less than a week to complete; even whole-home repaints.

Q. What kind of warranty do you provide?

With our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee*, we guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied with the quality of our workmanship and the products that we use. We will perform a thorough walk-through with you prior to completing your project to ensure that you are happy with every detail.

We also offer one of the best warranty programs in the industry to give you the peace of mind that your painting project will continue to look just as beautiful in the future as it does the day it was completed. Compare our industry-leading 3-Year warranty program to our competitors’ warranty programs and you will discover that you won’t find a better warranty offered in the industry.

Q. What if I have some changes that I would like to make or additional work that I would like to have the crew take care of while they’re already at my home?
